To relieve the parking problem caused by the increasing number of vehicles, the urban parking guidance system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has been studied. The proposed system can collect information about cars by RFID, receive and handle the information, and then offer optimized scenarios to guide cars into the suitable parking places. In this way, it will help to save parking time, improve the utility ratio of the parking spaces, and decrease the possibility of traffic jams caused by searching for the parking spaces.
