The Port of Palm Beach is a 200-acre niche port located in Southeast Florida, approximately 96 km (60 miles) North of Miami. Over the past decade, the Port of Palm Beach has transformed to a modern Port able to meet future needs. Today, because of efficient land use and specialized markets, the Port has one of the highest container throughputs per acre in the country. In 1995, the Port developed an aggressive Master Plan calling for $110 million dollars in Capital Improvements to make operations more efficient and to join parcels of land separated by public roads (state and local).
