This paper discusses and analyzes the passenger flow organization of an urban rail transit station. A method using microscopic pedestrian simulation is proposed, which applies the complex system software AnyLogic to evaluate passenger flow organization schemes. Through field surveys and analyses, the pedestrian flow characteristics of the station were obtained. These characteristics include walk speed, size, and frequency and were used as the basic model parameters for simulation models. The case study demonstrates the validity and feasibility of the proposed method. This method is capable of analyzing and evaluating the performance of passenger flow organization schemes through visual and quantitative methods.
