In a transport facility, such as a guideway, a higher service frequency of vehicles translates to a higher use efficiency and capacity of the transit. A guideway transit that has a structure and character similar to that of a highway, a frequent service is possible by non-stop running. The structure of the guideway for a frequent service in urban area needs a simple interchange structure with a large turning radius, and a terminal structure with a high handling capacity. A guideway transit with these structures in place can transport a large volume of passengers through frequent service. A guideway transit system of this type can convey 30,000–300,000 passengers per hour comfortably and swiftly, and facility can be selected by needed capacity.
