In response to the proposal of transit-oriented development, and promoting comprehensive transportation efficiency. As key facilities of transportation system, transit hubs are designed to provide a switching point for multimodal transport. Aiming to minimize comprehensive travel costs, the paper proposes an optimal location model for integrated design of transit hubs and inter-link layout in a multimodal network, which considering the regional geographic characteristics and administrative division features. In order to solve the nonlinear optimization model with discrete variables, an improved genetic algorithm has been established. A design example is given to verify the validity of the model and the result shows that the performance of a comprehensive passenger hub is significantly improved. Meanwhile, by introducing geographical attributes, the model can effectively and realistically capturing the interaction between traffic demand and land use.
