With the rapid development of the city, the phenomenon of “separation of employment and residence” has become more and more serious. However, the continuous increase in commuting time will have an important impact on the subjective well-being of urban residents. Under this framework, subjective well-being in the field of trip time is selected to be studied in this paper. The data of the American Time Use Survey database is used to analyze the relationship between emotional feelings of trip and commuting time, using the ordered logistics regression model. Based on the regression results, the differences in emotional feelings of the trip among different groups are analyzed.
