By analyzing each factor influencing the passenger train operation, the evaluation index system of inter-city passenger train operation plan is synthetically built up from two aspects including the operating efficiency of railway transportation enterprises and the service quality of passenger. The. AHP is used to ascertain the weight coefficient of the indexes of each layer. The fuzzy statistics is applied to ascertain me membership grade of the index. On the basis of these, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is set up. The evaluation result of Chengdu-Chongqing inter-city passenger train operation plan indicates that this method impersonally reflects the quantization index reality of the operation plan, and can help us make rational evaluation of the inter-city passenger train operation plan.
