RongDong District is the pilot area in Xiongan New Area in China, and the public transport demand in this area needs to be further studied. Based on existing planning results, this paper uses the method of city-level comparison for further study. This paper selects three world-renowned transit-oriented cities, Hangkang, Manhattan, and Paris, to analyze respectively the differences in the network shape, scale and travel structure. Then it simulates the public transport modes in these four cities in transCAD by setting boundary conditions, controlling variables, etc., and uses the four-stage method commonly used in transport planning to make a simulation at regular transport scales and under limit road net bearing capacity. Finally, it analyzes and compares the simulation results with two indicators of the proportion of congested roads in the total mileage and the density of congested roads.
