Weekend travel is less restricted temporally or spatially, which gives weekend travelers greater freedom of decision making, leading to more diverse individual travel behavior. The ever-increasing proportion of people traveling by private cars leads to the centralized traffic volume in districts surrounding prosperous commercial centers, tourism spots, and large comprehensive transportation hubs, which especially intensifies traffic congestion in such areas. In this paper multinomial logistic regression model estimates are presented to analyze the weekend travel behavior mechanism of influencing factors and master the needs of transport service for weekend travelers and identify key determinants in origin and destination transport service level. According to the influencing factors of origin transport level of service, the evaluation model of service level of origin transport system is constructed based on grey system theory. And then we propose the targeted improvement measures and analyze the sensitivity and effects of the transport measures. The results provide a theoretical basis for weekend transport management policies and measures that improve weekend transportation organization and services in the future.
