Casualties usually occur in metro fires. It is obligatory to adopt applicable emergency plan and rescue technology to reduce human casualties in metro fires. Emergency rescue vehicle in metro fire is firstly put forward to be applied to metro fires. By emergency rescue vehicle in metro fire, the rescuer can go to fire field along metro railway track rather than reach the fire field by near metro entrance. Principle and measure of extinguishment and decreasing temperature of metro fire field are brought forward. Function of emergency rescue vehicle in metro fire is laid special stress on discussion, which is decreasing temperature of fire field, reducing concentration of smoke toxicity and carbon dioxide, and increasing oxygen content that is the key technology on emergency rescue of metro fire.
