An evaluation model is proposed to measure road comfort degree of cycle trips based on cycle trip distance and the conditions of traffic volume, bike lanes, and road gradient. With comfort degree as an objective, hierarchical indicators are developed and the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Integrated Evaluation methodologies are used to evaluate road comfort degree of cycle trip. The model provides a valuable and systematic method to commuter bicyclist route choice and will be helpful to build a more comfort traffic environment.
