In recent years, many bridge girder erection machines for 900-ton concrete box girder have emerged with the high-speed passenger rail line's rapid construction in China. However, to date, these bridge machines cannot pass the tunnel on itself, unless they are disassembled. So, for the mountain construction site with many bridges and tunnels, those existing bridge machines will subject to many restrictions Application. Based on the above, we have specifically developed the SSJ900-type bridge girder erection machine with the function of passing the tunnel in the state of no disassembly. In the paper, the overall design scheme, the beam-erecting principle and the method of passing the tunnel are introduced in detail.
