To study the influencing factors of traffic safety between right-turning motor vehicles and non-motorized vehicles traveling straight at urban signalized intersections, the conflict is divided into four ordered grades: mild, medium, more serious, and serious. By analyzing the characteristics of traffic flow, the generalized ordered logit model is used to analyze the related factors affecting the severity of the conflict, and then the marginal effect is used to calculate the influence degree of each factor on the severity of traffic conflict. Results show that the traffic volume of right-turning motor vehicles and non-motorized vehicles traveling straight, the proportion of electric bicycle, the proportion of large, and medium-sized vehicles, and whether or not waiting areas for non-motorized vehicles are used will significantly affect the severity of the conflict, and the grade can be effectively lowed by setting up non-motorized vehicle waiting area and controlling large and medium-sized vehicles entering intersections.
