All factors, influencing structural damages of the airport pavement, are analyzed, including temperature variation, foundation modulus, and capability of load deliver among pavement slabs, overload and flexural-tensile strength of the pavement. The finite element model is established based on the practical construction of airport roads. The effect of factors on concrete pavement damages in the degree is discussed. Moreover, the deformation and stress of the joint of pavement slabs under the repeated dynamic airplane loads are analyzed. Mechanisms of structural damages of the cement concrete pavement are determined. To the joint damage of the pavement, two precautions are put forward mainly. Then the effect of a precaution is analyzed based on the finite element method, which indicates that precaution can obviously reduce the degree of damages. The result would effectively reduce the potential safety hazard and ensure the safe operation of the airport.
