In order to improve the mechanical properties and durability of the bridge deck pavement, the tests of mechanical properties, impermeability and frost resistance were done for steel fibers reinforced concrete (SFC), the polypropylene fibers imitating the steel wire reinforced concrete (PFSC) and the hybrid fibers reinforced concrete (SF-PFSC). The experimental results show that SF-PFSC presents higher compressive strength, flexural strength and flexural toughness than those of the plain concrete (PC). While the volume ratios of SF and PFS are 7% respectively, the toughening and reinforcing effect on the PC is the best, the SF-PFSC shows good impermeability and frost resistance at the same time. Combining with engineering practice of the SF-PFSC deck pavement, the construction technology is also summarized.
