We propose in this article an application of a new set of models referred to as Stable Dynamics. Stable Dynamics, introduced by the authors, provide a flexible yet rigorous way to model congestion in large urban areas. It provides some practical tool for the transportation planners. The data requirements of Stable Dynamics are extremely low, since the supply and the demand data could be provided by data easily available via GIS systems. This approach is based on the requirements that (1) the maximum entering flow for each link is given and that (2) Wardrop principle holds. In this paper, we add to the basis model parking choice. We focus on the case where the commuters first use a private transportation and then use a public transportation. Since the evening the commuter has to retrieve his car, we propose a modeling of both the morning and the evening commute. We show that such a model can be provided with a standard mathematical formulation. Several applications of the extensions of Stable Dynamics are discussed in the perspective of transportation planning.
