The rapid growth of car ownership has brought many urban problems. In order to alleviate this situation, car sharing projects have been launched in China. CCCLub in Hangzhou is one of the successful car sharing projects. In this paper, the CCCLub users’ behaviors are studied through a survey. The results show that the main car-sharing users are: 18–35 years old, male, associate or bachelor degrees, professional, commercial and service personnel, middle-income, homeowners, have no car or one car, and drivers with more than 1 year of driving experience. Results also show that car sharing can replace private cars; commuting, business, entertainment, and short trips are the main purposes of car sharing. Cost and convenience are the primary reasons users choose car sharing. A car sharing service can postpone the purchase of a first or second car, but it may lead to stronger dependence on car use, because of its convenience and lower-cost.
