The characteristics of tensile anchor plate anchorage structure are described firstly. Then, by combining FEM analysis results with the results obtained from full scale model test under static load on tensile anchor plate in cable-girder anchorage zone of Guangzhou Dongsha Bridge, the stress distribution and mechanical behavior of anchorage system are analyzed. B is the thickness of tensile anchor plates and R is the radius at the end of fillet welds between the tensile anchor plate and the tensile anchor tube. The influences of B and R on the stress distribution of tensile anchor plate are researched, and the rationality of the design is proved. The study results are beneficial to the design of similar bridge.
