Urban rail transit is typically multi-modal combination travel. In addition to the main body of the railway, it includes two major processes of access and egress. Exploring the impact of the built environment on the connection mode is of great significance to promoting the development of public transport. The paper obtained multi-source information such as POI data, travel chain data, and road network data. The environmental factors include: land use, accessibility, and station factors. We used a multiple logit model to analyze the influence mechanism of built environment factors on the connection mode in the Nanjing Metro. The model results showed that the built environment factors within the station buffer zone had a significant impact, which is valuable information for optimizing land development and facilities allocation around the station.
