The primary purpose of this study was to improve the efficiency of the land transportation network in Guanzhong plain urban agglomeration, and promote the construction of “the Belt and Road Initiative” by constructing a land transportation complex network model and analyzing its relevant characteristics. Firstly, the paper abstracted the expressway, national highway, provincial highway, intercity railway, universal speed railway, and high-speed railway in Guanzhong plain urban agglomeration, and constructs the land transportation complex network model in Guanzhong plain urban agglomeration by using the dual method and Gephi software. Secondly, the basic topological statistical characteristics such as average path length, clustering coefficient, degree and degree distribution were calculated, and analyzed quantitatively. Finally, the reliability characteristic of network connectivity under deliberate attack was analyzed. It was found that land transportation complex network possessed small-world properties but not scale-free properties. At the same time, the network tended to collapse due to 56% nodes deliberate attacks so it possessed good connectivity reliability. For the planning and management of the land transportation network developed by “the Belt and Road Initiative” and the goal of improving the network transportation efficiency, it was necessary to protect the lines with high degree, expand the lines with a low degree, and improve the robustness and reliability of the land transportation network.
