The research conducted by the Space Life Sciences seeks to understand the effects of gravity and the space environment on living systems and monitor and mitigate these effects in space explorers. Just as the Space Life Sciences research programs are enabling humans to live and work in space, Space Life Sciences Outreach is collaborating with a variety of partners to prepare lifelong learners (K-100+) to live and work in the 21st century. Our mission is to facilitate a greater understanding of the benefits that result from the Nation’s investment in NASA’s Space Life Sciences through pro-active partnerships focused on educating and communicating with the American public.
