Currently LAPAN has satellites that are still operating, namely LAPAN-A2 / ORARI and LAPAN-A3 / IPB. The two satellites carry AIS (Automatic Identification System) sensors to monitor ships in various parts of the world. LAPAN-A2 / ORARI with a semi-equatorial orbit at an altitude of about 630 km and LAPAN-A3 / IPB with a polar orbit at an altitude of about 503 km above sea level allow them to cover a large number of AIS signals. Over time, the amount of AIS data stored in the database has also increased. The need for AIS data to be used internally and externally still uses desktop-based internal applications with the output in the form of files. With the current development of web technology, AIS data needs can be served independently by the server via the Web API. Users can access AIS data from the API that has been provided on the web service with authentication and authorization. This paper describes the design of a web service or it can be called a RESTful API with OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization security which can display AIS data in the form of Nation, MMSI, Ship Name, Type, Time, SOG, COG, ROT, Status, and Source data in JSON format. This paper also displays the test results in the form of the time it takes for the server to serve 1, 5, 10, 50, and 100 requests simultaneously.
