This paper discusses the real-time measurement of a rocket’s flight direction using Software Defined Radio (SDR). In this experiment, the transmitter we are using is using SDR USRP B210, and the receiver is SDR USRP Twin RX X310, as for the frequency is using 900Mhz. The software used for radio signal acquisition is GNU-radio, and MATLAB is used to process signals in angular directions. The experimental results in the laboratory showed that the angle measurement error accuracy is about 2.57 deg. This system will be applied to track the flight direction of the LAPAN’s rocket.
