As of today, the People’s Republic of China is one of the world leaders in space exploration. Relevance of this topic is determined by the New Space Chinese innovational private companies emerging in the aerospace technologies and services market, as well as by increased competition and growing demand in the economic use of outer space, other planets and space objects resources from business and governments. This paper provides a review aimed at analyzing the ongoing transformation of the Chinese space industry ecosystem. Review results demonstrated that China has every chance of taking a leading position in the international space race.
