Delivery drone is one of tools for supporting the realization of industry 4.0 especially in the E-commerce industry. A lot of delivery drone were proposed to solve the goods transportation problems. We are building a delivery drone with single wire pulley mechanical system. We find that just only using advanced mechanical design and physics laws, our delivery drone can detect the landing phase and maximum phase without any advanced sensor requirement. This paper explains how we manage the workflow of how to control the pulley mechanical system with those mechanical sensors to obtain a smart pulley system. Not only how to control the pulley, this paper also discusses about the safety workflow for emergency case during dropping the goods. Based on the experiment, the successful dropping process by using automatic workflow are 90% and 10% with manual workflow as safety workflow.
