The development of cybernetics and mechatronics, which blended with the Internet of Things (IoT), led to the introduction of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) using IoT devices and protocols in the automotive industry. This paper describes the use of MQTT protocol in the development of a CPS architectural model based on a common IoT layered architecture as a template. For each layer, appropriate technologies are designated, most notably LoRa, MQTT, and dash. LoRa is used to enable physical device communication, whereas MQTT is used for data exchange with an application server. Dash is a framework for developing web-based applications. As a result, the system was put through tests in remote controlling a manual transmission car over a cloud server, which demonstrated the reliability of the MQTT data exchange in the network of LoRa communication and the connection to the user interface.
