Perovskite cells are the most promising area of research among the new generation of solar technologies due to their high power conversion efficiency (PCE). Because it is incredibly affordable to scale up, this sort of cell is a very enticing solution for commercial applications. Perovskite cells have sparked a lot of interest due to their substantial rise in conversion efficiency. This paper briefly describes about the structure and working principle of the perovskite cells along with applications. In the previous twelve years, the reported light conversion efficiency of these cells has improved from 3.5 percent to over 25%, with further gains expected in the future. There’s little doubt that perovskite cells have a bright future in solar cell development ahead of them. In this article, discussion about how to make a transparent conductive oxide layer, a perovskite cell. By the end of this project, we will have a thorough understanding of perovskite cell design, manufacturing, and power conversion efficiency.
