Based on the literature analysis of the work on the calculation of the components of the cutting force, an algorithm and program have been developed for the theoretical calculation of the components of the cutting force during thread milling with single-disk cutters using the parameters of the section of the cut layer. The influence of the parameters of the tool (diameter and angles of the cutting part), thread (diameters and pitch), and cutting mode (feed and cutting speed) on the value of the components of the cutting force during thread milling was investigated and a comparative analysis of the data obtained with the results of the experimental study, which confirmed the theoretical calculation.
