We prove that the generalized Morrey spaces are embedded between two generalized Stummel classes whose characteristics differ by a logarithmic factor. To this end, we prove a new property of Morrey spaces by showing that the generalized local Morrey spaces are embedded between weighted Lebesgue spaces with weights differing similarly only by a logarithmic factor. All the embeddings are sharp. We also give an equivalent norm for the generalized Stummel type spaces.
