This study selected the best refrigerants by considering thermophysical characteristics, cost, safety, and environmental and ecoeconomic factors. We examined the effectiveness of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle using statistical and thermodynamic methods. We computed efficiency and coefficient of performance (COP) for a range of experimental configurations. We determined the ideal settings for A2B1C2D2E1 and A2B2C1D1E3 to yield the highest COP and efficiency. The results showed that D > A > C > B > E and E > A > B > D > C significantly influenced the efficiency and COP. Evaporator and condenser temperatures, along with high- and low-pressure compressor efficiencies, most effectively determined the COP and efficiency under operational conditions; the COP is 2.54, and the efficiency is 30.46%.
