This paper presents the basics of intelligent transportation systems and their protection worries throughout their applications. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) focus on incorporating detecting, investigating, and executing correspondence into movement, well‐being, and comfort. All vehicle producers continuously make more brilliant and futuristic vehicles, changing the feel of movement. Travelling is turning out to be more productive in all conditions. More secure vehicles are presented consistently with thought for walker well‐being and travellers. However, the new innovation and expanding availability of ITSs are assault vectors for vindictive programmers. Metropolitan urban communities with great associated public transportation frameworks present new security worries with the information gathered from travellers. Moreover, we examine the difficulties in tending to security and protection issues in ITS. The revelations in this paper intend to give direction on the most effective way to address the current, and future challenges that the transportation business faces and make ITS more secure, safe, and security shielding.
