Visual human–computer interactions ( VHCI ) have been widely applied in intelligent vehicles. Technologies, like route navigation, allow drivers to take advantage of automatic approaches when driving intelligent vehicles. However, unreliable mechanics of VHCI may lead to frustrating driving experiences or traffic accidents. In this chapter, we review the state‐of‐the‐art on VHCI in intelligent vehicles and discuss future directions.
