Based on analyzing the existing airport surface surveillance technology, aiming at the defects and new demands to meet the increasing and more complex traffic flow at an aerodrome, a visualized expression and interaction system based on GeoTools of airport surface geographic information is put forward, surveillance of aircraft on surface is realized. Practical operation shows that the system is superior to the traditional method used for monitoring all moving targets on maneuvering area with low cost, and enhances visualized expression and interaction of airport geographic information.
