A new type of car phone antenna being realized as an arrangement of several narrow spaced short antenna elements is presented. Thus the disadvantage of a non-omnidirectional radiation pattern going along with one single small antenna is overcome and an inconspicuous but highly efficient phone antenna is realized. Making use of the space between these elements an additional GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite patch antenna with a 10 W noise preamplifier is integrated into the same antenna body. With a new feeding method leading through the adhesive for window fixing, the undesired hole on the roof for antenna mounting is avoided.
