In early papers it was shown that it is possible to increase the interaction of laser radiation and metal by controlling the kinetics of mass transfer of melt in liquid-phase from metal volume by its evaporation through the use of a laser pulse of a special shape. It is an approach that requires to seek for such a laser pulse shape with which the 'heating' pulse component of rectangular shape could provide melt, and a hig-frequency component of the same pulse could ensure the whole removal of the melt mass by evaporation. In this paper we consider a single-beam version (versus double-beam version) with application of a passive phototropic modulator made of fluoric lithium monocrystal, LiF. A combined mode as superposition of continuous, pulse radiation for laser cutting, pulse seam laser welding, fibre optical track for laser marking of distant and large-sized blanks are realized on the basis of radiator off batch-produced LTN-103 laser with regard to structural and technological features of steel and alloys treatment with solid laser beam for aviation industry.
