An analysis of turbulent convective and radiative heat fluxes in high temperature environments is presented. A second-order turbulence closure model along with a differential approximation for the calculation of radiative heat flux are incorporated into the numerical solution of a high temperature flowfield (created by a specified energy addition), to simulate the environment of advanced rocket chamber flows.
