An automatic system of supervisory control of technological processes of the USSR's unified system of gas supply has been created and is functioning at various levels. A method is suggested for correcting the steady-state flow distribution of gas-transport systems with various changes in the system's operating parameters and layout parameters. Development of this method is based on use of the possibilities of sensitivity theory, is fairly effective in relation to calculation time and computer memory, and provides acceptable accuracy for engineering calculations.
