This paper has intended to indicate that new techniques can now be successfully designed and implemented for automotive electronic control systems, and that the full analysis of such systems is not a manual process. Using Design Automation tools such as Saber from Analogy great improvements in design quality and design time-to-market may be achieved by vehicle electronics engineers.
