Described a design method of universal test tooling of automotive body electronics unit. The test is divided into two parts of host computer and console computer, the host computer is application related, it is the combination of the test items, in the form of a package combinations on the PC, console computer has nothing to do with the application, it is the combination of the signal channel, achieve a variety of signals channel related to the nature of the body electronics unit in the form of real-time embedded system, As signal channels and interfaces, it establish hardware connection with the EUT(equipment under test), achieve the test interface configuration and monitoring. Through the different test software of the host computer and different connection of console computer with EUT, through clipping of specific testing software, achieved test during the development and production process, and also, testing different automotive electronics by selecting different test software.
