In this paper, a specification process for the adaptive part of electric vehicles (EV) is introduced. The user requirements for electromobility are collected by a psychology research group with different methods. The diversity of requirements, which is caused by the complexity of the mechatronic system, adds the difficulty on specification. External interface specification is introduced to deal with this situation, and the specification tool SpecScribe is used to record the requirements and for further generation of an executable model of the whole system. The system build in "AdAntE" (Adaptive Antriebskonzepte für die Elektromobilität) is taken as an example.
