The paper investigates stochastic numerics of rail-vehicle systems. The ride on uneven rail surfaces generates vertical vibrations of wheels and vehicle dependent on the vehicle velocity. Simulation schemes are introduced applying iterated integrals and their approximations by time and noise increments. Systematic errors of the applied discrete integration schemes are discussed in dependance on the vehicle speed and compared with analytical solutions of the linear rail-vehicle systems. The modelling of vehicles is extended to nonlinear wheel suspensions with cubicprogressive spring characteristics. Introducing relative displacement coordinates, stationary solutions are approximated by higher order simulation schemes derived by multiply iterated integration. For increasing nonlinearities, the wheels vibration are reduced on costs of the vehicle vibrations which are magnified, considerably, when the damping is not optimal. In the case of overcritical damping, vehicle and wheel vibrations become unstable. Note that the classical harmonic analysis approximates excitation and response of stochastic systems by frequency-limited Fourier expansions with random amplitude and phase variables. These disadvantages can be avoided when dynamic systems are described by Ito differential equations and simulated by higher order schemes of drift and diffusion of the stochastic increment terms.
