This article consists of two parts. In the first part, the present authors develop the results of the previous paper and consider the problem of generalizing these results to a compound system with arbitrary MIMO subsystems and control using outputs. For that, on the one hand, a number of simplifications are assumed (a fully certain linear system is considered). On the other hand, there is no limitation on the system structure, the reference model and the interconnection structure in this investigation. On basis of system embedding technology, the necessary and sufficient conditions of existence of the synthesis problem solution as well as an analytic description of the whole set of control laws, which provide zero following error to the reference model, are obtained. It is shown that structural limitations in references and are special cases of common conditions of solvability, which in turn may be used to form reference models providing problem solvability. Results obtained may be used in many important practical applications. In the area of airspace, examples of such problems are control of formation flying, air traffic control, control of a helicopters group for the transportation, a common load, and control of a satellite network. In the second part of this article, the task of decentralized coordinated control for horizontal trajectory movement of a group of different types of pilotless aircraft is considered as an application of the described approach. The aircraft do not exchange information. Radio-commands of remote control are made available for each aircraft. This work was supported by the ISTC and the RFBR, grant number 08-08-00125-a.
