The paper presents a theoretical justification of correcting manipulation algorithms for the multiwheeler hydrostatic transmission (HT) control system. The basic purpose of these algorithms application is the adaptation of the wheeled vehicle with HT to the motion conditions. That will improve the power efficiency of the vehicle. A correcting manipulation algorithm can be developed on the basis of an analogous (continuous) principle or of an impulse principle for the control signal change. But the analysis shows that the analogous principle can not work reliably because of the existence of insensibility zones for real elements in the control system.
