Generally hardware- and software-components are considered as the fundamental elements of an interaction system. These both for the operating system relevant components are also characterised as useware. Additionally a further element of a technical mature interaction system is the based development process including the structure of organisation and decision. Each of these elements, hardware, software and process constitutes apart a distributed and cross-linked system with its own complexity. In co-operation of all three systems the complexity will be increased. This article describes on the basis of the elements system architecture, HMI development process and HMI concepts how these complex single systems as well as the complete system could be controlled by appropriate development structures, tool chains and interaction concepts.
