Defrosting rate is the one of the most important parameter in user assessment Designed and manufactured in Institute of Electron Technology heating elements were tested. For this purpose polymercarbon and polymer-silver microcomposites printed onto polyester foils were used. The highest defrosting rate was observed in case of polymer-carbon posistor layers application Temperature distribution, during and after defrosting, was estimated using thermovision camera. Power input for different type of heating elements was measured. High TCR value of heating layers limits power input after defrosting end.
