Energy absorption structure equipped in the front of major structure can restrict efficiently structural damage and deceleration of high-speed power car and reduce the injury of the passengers and drivers. An energy absorption structure is designed and the LS-DYNA (finite element software) is used to investigate the damage of the cab, the deceleration of the high-speed power car and the energy absorption of the cab. It can be found from the research results that the energy absorption structure designed reasonably can lessen the damage of the high-speed power car and reduce deceleration to the extent that people can endure. The destruction mode of the same structure is possibly different in different beginning collision speed case. In order to fix the destruction mode of the energy absorption in various beginning collision speed, the tube energy absorption structure is placed in a box structure to maintain stabilization. The result is satisfactory. The energy absorption structure designed for the high-speed power car can absorb energy effectively, reduce the destruction degree of the main structure of the cab, enlarge the occupant living space, and reduce the deceleration of the high-speed car. So the relative speed between the passenger and the vehicle is reduced to minimize the casualties.
