The intention of the presentation is the representation of the current situation over the longfiber/PP applications in the automobile industry from the point of view of a long fiber technology developer and turn key plant supplier. How can the supplier manufacture its product, by a technical solution economically. Here starts the 'one shot technology' The script is dealing with natural fibre/PP composites. 'One shot' process means production of an automobile part with one stroke. Trimming depending upon complexity is optionally a second step. Combination of longfibre natural fibers (here the group of the natural fibers: Sisal, flat, hemp, Kenaf and also cotton) and thermoplastic synthetic fibre such as polypropylene (PP) offer best opportunities for the application of efficient one shot technologies. As main arguments for natural fibers in the automobiles industry are considered costs, recyclability, comfort/modular solutions, reduction of the manufacturing and logistics expenditure. The natural fibre as long fiber selected, offers best characteristics to withstand side impact. The presented tehnologies are all based on economic/ecologic one shot technology and permit with the help of NF/PP smallest materials and fuels consumption.
