At present the numerical modelling is an effective tool for understanding in detail the complex physical-chemical processes in different technical devices. One of them is an airbag as part of modern automotive security systems. The present paper is devoted to numerical modelling of the combustion process in a model-airbag elaborated in Fraunhofer-ICT with two slots as output nozzles. Two calculations of non-steady processes in the airbag were implemented as an example of application of the elaborated numerical method. One variant of calculation was done for viscous flow the other for non-viscous flow. For modelling the processes the numerical algorithm has been developed. It takes into account non-uniform distribution of temperature in bulk of granules and allows to calculate the movement of burning products in regime of percolations. As a result, there is the opportunity to predict the start of ignition and displacement of it in the frame work of model burning with constant surface temperature rather realistically.
