The autors propose and improve the long distance and precise measurement method in order to realize the flexible motion of vehicles at factories, halls and gymnasiums. This method is based on the principle of triangulation which uses two cameras equipped on the vehicle, and it can reduce the influence of quantization errors on the triangulation by using many images. In this paper, two methods are discussed. One method is 'Average method' which is simple and available in the short distance. The other method is 'Comparison method' which uses prior quantization error patterns and available in the short and long distance. These methods has been discused using experimental results and computer simulations.
