Utilization of fluidics in an automotive air conditioner's outlet grille using a modified wall attachment device. A conventional outlet grille has movable louvers which change the direction of the outlet flow and which are operated manually. The fluidic system utilizes fluidic devices and electronic elements to provide four different modes of outlet flow; one automatic oscillating flow and three types of deflection flows. It operates by remote control. Compared to the conventional arrangement, the automatic oscillating flow produced by this system permits a more uniform, rapid temperature distribution inside the automobile and creates a more comfortable feeling. Moreover this system provides fixed deflection flows without a decrease in the total outlet flow rate or the cooling performance. (Wassmann)
